Surtech (previously know as PT Primaquip Nusantara, 1985) providing wide range of Geophysical Logging Services to the coal and oil industries. We provide from basic logging survey to advance logging survey such as Full Waveform Sonic, Acoustic or Optic Televiewer from well known companies such as MountSopris (Golden Colorado, USA) and Advance Logging Technology (Luxembourg).

Surtech manufactured and developed its own logging system both the winches (350 m - 2000 m) and the probes. The units are built in such a way that the electronic board can be easily replaced in the field. In fact, we are the first company in Indonesia using the computerized logging equipment. The system is designed to work in very rugged areas, with a standard serial interface for data communication between acquisition device and the computer, client have the flexibilities to used the suitable type of computer meet their need.

Our logging probes are flexible and can be designed to meet the client's need. For example, by placing a larger size of X-tals we are able to detect the weak natural gamma radiation requested by the client or vice versa. Also the type and size of the radioactive source can be varied at the client's request.

For major repair and maintenance, the company is equipped with all the necessary electronic testing equipment as well as having its own mechanical workshop located in Taman Tekno Industrial Estate, BSD CITY Indonesia. These facilities are run by qualified operators supervised by engineers.

Most of our logging engineers and operators have more than 20 years field experience. They are licensed by the Indonesian Atomic Energy Agency (BAPETEN) to handle radioactive materials.

Currently we are the largest logging services to the coal industry throughout the Archipelago. Our major clients are the International and National coal companies, as well as some of the oil companies with shallow exploration and production targets.
